We have been trying to get a new gas furnace with a/c installed for over a year. I was on the internet looking for HVAC Contractors in Pierce county, Wa. when I came across a web site from yelp that listed about 3 contractors in this pierce county, Wa area. I sent a email to two of the contractors and received a immediate reply from Hale's Heating & air. I spoke to this business owner, Guy Hale to set up an appt. for them to look at our present gas furnace and give us suggestions to replace this unit. When he arrived at our home I had done a good deal of research on various brands and had one in mind that I liked. He never tried to upsell me or offer a low quality product. He wrote out on a mock up cost sheet what he thought would work best for our home and told us to look over and study these suggestions and give him a call in a couple of days if there was one of these offerings we wanted to proceed with. We settled on a York system. We did not select the most expensive, nor the least, but a quality product that would meet our needs. We signed the invoice and set up a start & completion date. When making a sizable purchase like this it is very comforting to be working with a honest and dependable contractor. It would certainly make life more enjoyable as a consumer if more busineses took this approach of going above and beyond in their business practices. My sincere thanks to Guy Hale, (owner) and his team for the product knowledge and dedication they bring to he work place. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. Most of the time when I have written a review on a business, it has been very negative and long winded, so this time I had to shift gears to write this review. Guy and Rich came on time, stuck to the original agreed price, the installation went just as described, both technicians were friendly and courteous. Plus they cleaned up so well after themselves all I had to do was put back some things I moved so they had space. It was a much better experience than anticipated. The most amazing family run business in town. Kind, caring, honest, hardworking and downright phenomenal to work with. I have always wanted to get AC installed however, it was too daunting for us until we met Guy. Holy moly- they came in, worked well, cleaned up everything and loved on our dogs and our daughter without a blink. HIRE these guys for everything!
